We met in 2007 while aiding critically wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. A personal item protec­tion system could have been so helpful to long-term patients, their family and hospital staff.

In 2013, we launched Passionate Playground LLC and the world’s first patented, hygienic storage system, called Joyboxx® + Playtray™ to tackle this need.

In March 2020, COVID-19 hit our home base, Seattle, and we recognized how our essential hygiene tools could give people an additional layer of protection against the virus. We rallied the troops to provide the CLEAN SAFE BOX with GERM-AWAY TRAY and focus on helping our frontline providers and people in quarantine stop the spread of germs.
